Pet Friendly Hotel
When you are travelling with whole of your family, why cannot your pets go with you? Of course they are part of your family and they have every right to go with you but you need to consider pet friendly hotels in the particular area where you are intending to go.
A large number of hotels in the world have pet friendly approach so we call them pet friendly hotels. It is very difficult to give general information about the facilities that are provided by different hotels to pets as most of the hotels are franchises of different hotels. They are not owned and managed by a single company or owner. So the policy regarding pets will be different in one Marriott hotel from the other. Similarly there will be different policies in the same hotel for dogs and cats. General facilities that are provided in almost all the pet friendly hotels are given below;
- Special beds for the pets to give them comfort and relaxation of house.
- Provision of special breakfast that your pet takes in your house. Reason of providing pets a home environment is that pets take stress when they go outside. They will be upset if they will feel a lot of change in their routine. They cannot change themselves with changes as briskly as humans do.
- Provision of parks where you can walk with your pet for your pet’s exercise.
- Facility to keep your pet with you in your room.
- Special bathing facility for the pets.
- Some pet friendly hotels also provide swimming pool and whirlpool for the dogs.
- In case if hotel does not permit you to keep your pet with you, consider whether smoke detector or sprinkler is fitted in your pet’s room.
- Some hotels keep all pets in some special room to provide them better facilities, in such case consider that your pet’s room should not be much populated.
These are all the facilities that are provided in some hotels but vary largely by hotel to hotel. So we shall suggest you to ask from the pet friendly hotel manager of that particular hotel to know about the facilities provided by the hotel. As we have already mentioned that policies in pet friendly hotels vary hotel to hotel, they vary with in a hotel in different locations. So, it is always suggested to talk to hotel manager of that particular hotel in which you are intending to stay.
